Priya Patel, undertaking a major property development in the highly desirable Headington area of Oxford, envisioned a vast, streamlined, and highly functional kitchen space. To establish a calming yet modern atmosphere, she selected long linear runs of elegant, matte sage-grey base cabinetry featuring minimalist dark handles. To perfectly complement these muted earthy tones and add a touch of sophisticated sparkle, she required a highly durable work surface. The silver Starburst quartz worktop was the ideal choice to elevate the long expanse of the room.

Stepping into this bright, newly fitted space, the sheer scale of the Mono Silver Starburst installation immediately draws the eye. The dazzling grey quartz flows flawlessly across the extensive linear run of base units. Similar to many premium quartz worktops in Oxford, this installation demonstrates how carefully selected materials can enhance both visual appeal and everyday practicality. The most striking architectural feature of this kitchen is the highly bespoke, stepped quartz splashback. Rather than a standard height, the stone elegantly steps up and down along the wall, providing maximum protection exactly where it is needed behind the future cooking and preparation zones.

The meticulous attention to detail continues across the exterior wall, where the quartz transitions seamlessly into not one, but two fully clad, integrated window sills. Additionally, a precise circular cut-out has been placed at the far left of the surface, brilliantly designed to house a convenient pop-up power socket, keeping the expansive worktop completely clutter-free.
