Barnaby Winslow wanted to create a kitchen that blended rustic character with contemporary British design. Soft green shaker cabinetry, exposed brickwork, and warm textured plaster walls gave the room a welcoming atmosphere, while the space needed a bright surface to balance these rich natural tones. Positioned beneath a large skylight, the kitchen is filled with natural daylight that enhances the soft grey veining of the quartz. The surface flows seamlessly along the perimeter worktops, incorporating a flush-mounted induction hob, an undermount stainless steel sink, and a classic brass mixer tap that complements the warm finishes throughout the room.

The generously sized island, wrapped entirely in Mono Calacatta Eternal Grey, becomes the centrepiece of the kitchen, creating an impressive preparation and dining space while tying the entire design together with a seamless, architectural look.
