Julian Bates, renovating and extending his modern property on Kenilworth Road in Coventry, wanted a bright, highly functional culinary space that seamlessly connected to his newly built outdoor decking area. To contrast perfectly with his sleek, matte grey handleless cabinetry, he needed a surface that would actively bounce natural daylight around the room. As premier providers of Luxury kitchen worktops, we knew the reflective qualities of Arctic Starburst quartz would perfectly capture the light flooding in from the skylight and bi-fold doors, creating a vibrant and airy atmosphere.

The design maximises both workspace and minimalist style. The pristine, subtly sparkling quartz flows seamlessly around the perimeter, integrating a flush modern induction hob. The preparation area is further enhanced by a stainless steel undermount sink, complete with bespoke drainage grooves expertly routed directly into the stone.

To complete this tailored British aesthetic, matching Arctic Starburst quartz upstands and a bespoke cooker splashback were installed. These not only protect the pristine painted walls from splashes but also elegantly frame the stylish matte grey units and the large-format marble-effect floor tiles.
