Barnaby Fletcher, modernising his property in the highly sought-after Earlsdon area of Coventry, aimed to create a sleek, highly functional, and visually striking culinary space. He chose minimalist, light grey handleless cabinetry to establish a clean, contemporary foundation. To break up the monochrome palette and add a touch of personality, he introduced a bold, vibrant blue extractor hood as a standout feature. To tie this modern design together and reflect the natural light from the adjacent window, he required a bright, sparkling surface. The linear kitchen design is incredibly efficient and stylish. The pristine Mono Arctic Starburst quartz flows seamlessly along the base units, offering an expansive and highly durable preparation area. It neatly accommodates a modern stainless steel gas hob and a flush undermount sink positioned perfectly by the window.

The true visual impact of this Coventry installation comes from the expansive use of the stone on the walls. The sparkling quartz travels seamlessly upwards from the worktop to form a spectacular continuous full-height splashback. This runs the entire length of the kitchen, beautifully protecting the walls and perfectly framing the striking blue extractor hood to create a highly cohesive look.
