Oliver and Sophie Davies, renovating their charming period property in Earlsdon, Coventry, envisioned a kitchen that felt airy, tranquil, and effortlessly modern. To complement their choice of soft grey shaker cabinetry, they required a bright, highly resilient surface. While searching for a premium quartz worktop in the UK, they selected Bianco Carrara for its subtle elegance and brilliant light-reflecting qualities, perfectly showcased in this beautifully serene space.

The design focuses on soft, welcoming lines and a peaceful atmosphere. The pristine Bianco Carrara worktop flows beautifully across the layout, featuring bespoke curved radius corners on the peninsula that wonderfully soften the room’s overall aesthetic. This practical peninsula cleverly houses a sleek, integrated gas hob, transforming the preparation area into an engaging social space.

Further along the perimeter, a seamless undermount sink is paired with a classic chrome mixer tap. A matching, subtle quartz upstand borders the work surface, protecting the pristine white walls whilst maintaining a clean, minimalist profile below the open floating shelves adorned with fresh trailing plants.
