Sinclair family Project

Located on Kimbolton Road in Bedford, this contemporary family home renovation was completed for the Sinclair family shortly after purchasing the property. While the house offered a bright modern layout, both the kitchen and bathroom surfaces felt outdated and lacked the clean refined aesthetic the family wanted before moving in with their two-year-old child.
To create a cohesive and low-maintenance finish throughout the home, Amalfi White quartz was selected for both the kitchen worktops and the bathroom vanity surfaces. Its soft luminous white appearance introduced an immediate sense of brightness and elegance while maintaining the durability required for busy modern family living.
In the kitchen, the expansive Amalfi White quartz island became the focal point of the open-plan space, beautifully contrasting against the darker cabinetry while creating a timeless contemporary atmosphere. The same quartz was then carried through into the bathroom vanity areas, allowing the home to feel visually connected and consistently refined from room to room.
The subtle detailing within the quartz surface helped soften the bold cabinetry and clean architectural lines, creating a balanced aesthetic that felt modern without becoming overly stark or clinical. Every detail was carefully selected to ensure the finished spaces felt practical, elegant, and ready for family life from the very beginning.
