Alistair Beaumont wanted to modernise his characterful home in the historic Derngate area while preserving its traditional charm. Dark wood-effect handleless cabinetry and original timber flooring created a warm, textured foundation, while the kitchen needed a bright surface to reflect natural light from the large multi-paned window. The efficient U-shaped layout makes the most of both the workspace and the garden views. The bright white quartz flows seamlessly across the worktops, integrating a stainless steel gas hob, an undermount sink, and precision-routed drainage grooves that add both practicality and a bespoke finish.
