Elias Mercer sought to create a warm yet ultra-modern culinary hub within his elegant property in the Abington Park area of Northampton. He selected beautiful taupe-grey gloss handleless cabinetry to establish a sleek, contemporary foundation. To introduce organic luxury and brighten the U-shaped layout, he needed a surface with sophisticated drama. The new design flawlessly integrates high functionality with stunning aesthetics. The pristine Calacatta Gold quartz flows seamlessly across the base units, creating a luminous preparation area. Positioned neatly beneath the window is a sleek undermount stainless steel sink, accompanied by bespoke drainage grooves meticulously routed directly into the stone. Further along the run, a flush modern induction hob is perfectly integrated, maintaining the clean lines. To complete this cohesive British kitchen, the quartz travels upwards to form continuous splashbacks and a fully clad window sill.
