When Ashley set out to renovate her Northampton home in 2025, her goal was to create a kitchen that felt timeless rather than trend-led. As she began researching quartz worktops in Northampton, she wanted clean lines, warm finishes, and premium materials that would elevate the entire room without making it feel overdesigned. The vision centred on a bright, practical space where every element worked together effortlessly.

The cabinetry was finished in a soft white shaker style, creating a classic foundation for the design. To introduce contrast and sophistication, Ashley chose a marble-inspired quartz surface for the worktops, splashbacks, and matching drainer section, allowing the soft, natural veining to become the defining feature of the kitchen.

As a trusted Kitchen worktop specialist, we worked closely with Ashley from templating through to installation, ensuring every cut, joint, and finish was completed with absolute precision. Digital laser templating allowed the stone to fit perfectly around the cabinetry, while bespoke fabrication created a seamless appearance across every surface.

The worktops extend around the L-shaped kitchen, continuing into matching upstands and a full-height splashback behind the hob. This creates a cohesive design while reducing visual interruptions, allowing the elegant veining to flow naturally throughout the space.

One of the standout details is the bespoke integrated drainer, expertly machined beside the undermount sink. Paired with an elegant brushed brass tap, this feature combines practicality with understated luxury while maintaining the clean, uninterrupted appearance of the worktop.

The kitchen also features a black built-in oven, integrated hob, white shaker cabinetry, a matching quartz window cill, and warm herringbone flooring. Together, these carefully selected materials balance traditional character with contemporary styling, creating a space that feels bright, welcoming, and designed to last.
