Tobias Thorne, undertaking a comprehensive renovation of his property in the highly desirable Allington area of Maidstone, aimed to create a breathtakingly clinical, ultra-modern culinary space. He selected sleek, all-white handleless cabinetry to establish a seamless and highly reflective foundation. To prevent the completely white room from feeling flat and to introduce a touch of organic luxury, he required a pristine statement surface with subtle texture. We knew Mono Calacatta Eternal Grey Quartz would provide the ultimate luminous canvas.

The L-shaped design is a masterclass in modern minimalism. The pristine Mono Calacatta Eternal Grey quartz flows seamlessly across the base units, creating a highly practical and visually expansive preparation zone. The worktop features a highly precise, custom cut-out ready to perfectly accommodate a modern flush-mounted hob.

The undeniable masterpiece of this Maidstone installation is the expansive use of the stone on the walls. The quartz travels seamlessly upwards to form a spectacular continuous full-height splashback that wraps around the entire workspace. This not only protects the walls but beautifully showcases the sweeping grey veins, creating a highly cohesive and bespoke aesthetic.
