Nero Marquina creates immediate visual impact through the contrast between its deep black base and sharp white veining. When considering the overall quartz worktop cost, this surface provides the appearance of dramatic dark marble while offering the practical qualities of engineered quartz.
The varied veins travel across the slab in different widths and directions, preventing the design from feeling overly uniform. Pair Nero Marquina with white or pale-grey cabinetry for a strong monochrome scheme, or introduce walnut units, brushed brass fittings and warm lighting for a richer interior. Its bold pattern can also bring definition to large kitchen islands and open-plan layouts.
Striking White Veins Across a Deep Black Surface
The polished finish strengthens the contrast between the background and veining while reflecting light around the room. Full-height splashbacks can continue the pattern vertically, while matching upstands create a more restrained, coordinated finish.
