Grace Turner’s Project

For Grace Turner, the worktop was the final element that brought her kitchen together. Deep green cabinetry, natural oak doors, a traditional Belfast sink, and a black range cooker already gave the space plenty of character, but it needed a surface that would brighten the room while complementing its timeless style.

Completed on 16 June 2025, the project features Mono Calacatta Gold Superior quartz. While exploring different options for quartz worktops in Chelmsford, Grace was looking for a surface that balanced everyday practicality with classic elegance. Its soft white base and delicate gold-grey veining added warmth and light without overwhelming the traditional design.

Positioned beneath the window, the main worktop reflects natural daylight beautifully, creating a bright, practical workspace around the Belfast sink. The same quartz continues across the preparation areas, providing a durable surface that complements the oak cabinetry and traditional brass hardware.
