Robinson's Family Project

For Daniel and Amelia Robinson, the final stage of their Cambridge kitchen project came down to a single decision: choosing the surfaces that would define the room for years to come. By June 2025, the layout and cabinetry were already in place, but the worktops would ultimately determine how the space looked, felt, and functioned on a daily basis.

With both homeowners balancing busy careers and family life, the kitchen naturally became the most frequently used room in the house. The couple wanted surfaces that would feel timeless, withstand daily use, and complement the bright, open character of the space.

The kitchen’s standout feature is its wide garden-facing window, which fills the room with natural daylight from morning through to evening.
