Howard and Ella, residing in a charming heritage property on Chantry View Road in Guildford, sought to renovate their kitchen to reflect a classic country aesthetic without compromising on modern durability. With a shared passion for cooking traditional Sunday roasts on their impressive range cooker, they needed a worktop capable of withstanding heavy daily use. Midnight Starburst quartz provided the perfect bespoke solution, offering the timeless appeal of a dark stone surface paired with robust, low-maintenance practicality that perfectly suits their bustling lifestyle.

The kitchen is a stunning example of traditional British cabinetry, featuring deep navy shaker units adorned with classic bronze cup handles. The Midnight Starburst quartz worktops elegantly contrast with the soft green walls, running continuously around the generous U-shaped layout. This deep black surface subtly sparkles under the ceiling downlights, seamlessly complementing the large black range cooker and the smartly integrated under-counter wine cooler.

At the heart of the design sits a beautiful double ceramic Belfast sink, paired with a traditional bridge mixer tap. The quartz has been masterfully crafted to slightly overhang the sink, complete with bespoke drainage grooves routed directly into the stone, marrying rustic charm with high-performance functionality. A neat matching quartz upstand and seamlessly integrated window sill finish the space, protecting the walls whilst maintaining an incredibly clean, cohesive look.
