Vikram Singh, currently in the final stages of a major architectural renovation in the vibrant Ealing area of London, set out to create an ultra-modern, high-impact culinary space. He selected sophisticated dark charcoal and true handleless matte cabinetry, creating a moody and highly streamlined foundation. To break up the dark tones and visually connect the cabinetry with the beautiful white marble-effect floor tiles, he required a surface of pure, brilliant light. Mono Ultra White quartz was the absolute perfect choice to provide this breathtaking high-contrast aesthetic.

Entering this newly renovated space during the exciting final fit-out phase, the pristine Mono Ultra White quartz acts as the magnificent centrepiece of the room. Representing the pinnacle of quality for a Quartz worktop in the UK, this pure white stone flows flawlessly over the dark base units. The layout features an extensive U-shaped preparation zone that seamlessly meets a large matching island, which expertly houses a sleek stainless-steel undermount sink and a modern gas hob.

A standout architectural detail in this London installation is how the quartz interacts with the natural light. The stone continues beautifully from the main worktop to form a fully clad, integrated quartz window sill on the left-hand side, creating a highly cohesive, wipe-clean finish. Matching minimalist upstands have been fitted along the perimeter, providing a neat, structural seal against the freshly plastered walls as the final plumbing and cabinetry doors are completed.
