Rahul Desai, renovating his property in the popular Shenley Lodge area of Milton Keynes, sought to create a bright, ultra-modern, and highly sophisticated culinary space. While researching the best options for quartz worktops in Milton Keynes, he knew he wanted a durable stone that offered the luxurious look of natural marble without the maintenance. To achieve a seamless, contemporary aesthetic, he selected sleek, light grey high-gloss handleless cabinetry. To beautifully complement these reflective, minimalist units and introduce a touch of dramatic organic movement, he required a show-stopping surface. Mono Calacatta Eternal Grey quartz was chosen to serve as the breathtaking focal point of the room.

The true architectural masterpiece of this Milton Keynes installation is the magnificent full-height quartz splashback. The stone extends continuously from the main work surface all the way up to the underside of the sleek wall cabinets. This expansive use of quartz not only protects the walls but creates a highly cohesive, wrap-around effect that showcases the dramatic grey veining on a grand scale. The striking contrast of the marble-effect quartz against the minimalist grey gloss doors gives the space a truly high-end, bespoke feel, completely eliminating the need for traditional tiles.
