Penelope, renovating her contemporary property on Goldington Road in Bedford, desired a highly polished, ultra-modern culinary space. To contrast with her bold, dark grey gloss handleless cabinetry, she needed a brilliant, light-reflecting surface to keep the room feeling expansive and bright. As a leading kitchen worktop specialist, we recommended Capri White quartz to provide the perfect, crisp contrast, effortlessly marrying sleek modern design with everyday functionality.

The kitchen features a highly practical, expansive perimeter run. The pristine Capri White quartz flows seamlessly across the dark base units, integrating a flush modern gas hob and a sleek undermount stainless steel sink. The sink area is further enhanced by bespoke drainage grooves routed directly into the stone, paired beautifully with a striking matte black swan-neck mixer tap.

To complete the bespoke British aesthetic, the Capri White stone continues upwards to form full-height splashbacks and a perfectly integrated window sill. This continuous flow of white quartz not only protects the walls from cooking splashes but also brilliantly bounces natural daylight back into the room, creating a vibrant, flawlessly clean environment.
