Nathaniel Croft, renovating his elegant property in the desirable Amersham Hill area of High Wycombe, wanted to create a warm, inviting, and highly functional culinary space. He chose beautiful cream shaker-style cabinetry, paired perfectly with stunning herringbone wood flooring, to establish a classic British foundation. To elevate the room and introduce a touch of organic luxury, he required a statement surface with striking character. As a dedicated kitchen worktop specialist, we confidently recommended Calacatta Bronze quartz to provide that perfect, warm focal point.

The U-shaped design cleverly maximises the available space, creating a highly efficient preparation and cooking zone. The Calacatta Bronze flows seamlessly across the base units, elegantly accommodating a flush-mounted induction hob and an undermount sink.

The true masterpiece of this installation, however, is the expansive use of the stone on the walls. The quartz travels seamlessly upwards to create a spectacular, continuous full-height splashback that wraps around the entire cooking area. This not only protects the walls behind the hob and sink but also beautifully showcases the sweeping bronze veins, creating a breathtaking, cohesive look that ties the whole room together.
