Sophie Bennett, a busy architect and mother of two, recently purchased a beautiful but dated property on Pewley Hill. She needed a kitchen that could serve as both a practical family hub for chaotic weekday mornings and a sophisticated entertaining space for weekend dinner parties. Seeking a surface that offered the luxurious look of natural marble without the high maintenance and porosity, Sophie chose Misterio Gold quartz to bring light, warmth, and absolute resilience to her ambitious open-plan renovation.

The undisputed centrepiece of this bespoke Guildford kitchen is the striking Misterio Gold island, showcasing a highly unique, angled waterfall edge. This architectural detail cuts a dramatic silhouette against the warm, wood-textured base units and flooring, perfectly reflecting Sophie’s eye for contemporary design.
